One thing that happens when you live in a big city is that you become somewhat immune to the noises around you. However, I can NOT ignore the helicopters that are circling my neighborhood and probably this entire end of the city.

I swear, the Blue Angels are doing flybys of my apartment* right now. Which is very cool, but increasingly distracting.** Or maybe I'm just frustrated that every time I run to the windows, they've gone by too fast for me to see them.

Also, the sky is a shade of technicolor blue that I have never seen outside of California.
